Attention to Detail

Royal Oaks Homes photo gallery When you move into a new home, you first enjoy the experience. Then, you explore the details. You open the cabinets and closets. You run the faucets and flush the toilets. You inspect the floors and walls.

We know that attention to detail is critical in achieving customer satisfaction. Any opportunity to improve the finish work is welcome. So, when we learned that Sherwin-Williams launched a new line of builder’s grade paint, we were thrilled! Painters Edge interior paint was created to provide smooth, consistent application with beautiful results. Touch-ups and clean-ups are easy, too. And, because it’s designed for builders, the paints are made in quantities of 10 gallons at a time. You don’t have to worry about color matching.

Why does this all matter?

While your new home is covered by the builder’s warranty, you can request fixes and touch-ups. That might be as long as a year after you’ve moved in. Will the color still match if the builder needs to touch up an interior wall after a repair? Not all paints are created equal. Less expensive paints usually don’t cover as well or as evenly as a high-quality interior paint. You might save money with those lesser paints, but you’ll need to apply more coats, so the savings may be completely erased.

Like all materials that our designers use, we look for lasting quality. We don’t want our homeowners to experience flaws that result from cutting corners. We have a long-term investment in each customer, so we invest more in the construction process—from the materials to the craftsmanship. Sherwin-Williams has been a trusted name in paint for 145 years, and Painters Edge builder grade paint reflects that company’s desire to keep innovating.

We’re using Painters Edge in our new homes, and we encourage homebuyers to look for details like this when choosing a homebuilder.
